The Arab Financial Inclusion Day

The Arab Financial Inclusion day is a regional initiative to promote Financial Inclusion in the Arab countries; it was launched in 2016 by the Council of Arab Central Banks Governors and assigned the 27 th of April of each year as the Arab Financial Inclusion Day.

The Arab Financial Inclusion day aims to contribute to raising awareness of the financial inclusion amongst all stakeholders in the Arab countries.

This also aligned with the necessity that dedicated by the Arab countries to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, and ensure fair, quality, cost-effective and appropriate access to a full range of financial services to the under-served /unbanked populations and businesses in the Arab countries. On the Arab Financial Inclusion Day every year, the Arab central banks organize a number of events and activities, and launch financial awareness campaigns to raise awareness of financial inclusion and other related financial topics.
